Course aims: The purpose of this qualification is to confirm competence in an occupational role to the standards required. The Focus Awards Level 3 certificate in assessing vocational achievement is intended for those who assess both occupational competence in the work environment and vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in a workshop, classroom, or other training environment.
Qualification Structure: Learners must achieve a total of 15 credits from the 3 mandatory units.

Course Structure:
This Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement is internally assessed.
Each learner is required to create a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and the assessment criteria associated with each unit.
You will then need to assess two learners in a work environment using all 7 methods of assessment covered.
If you wish to do your microteach in-person, we can offer this course in Whitley Bay.
Support is available from your tutor should you require it.
You will need access to a computer and Word (or equivalent).
