Level 3 Certificate in Providing Facial Electrotherapy treatments (RFQ)

This course covers:

• Understanding human anatomy and physiology: Including the following systems: skeletal, muscular and facial, nervous, endocrine, respiratory, cardiovascular, lymphatic, digestive and skin, hair and nails
• Providing facial electrotherapy treatments
• Direct high frequency
• Galvanic
• Electro muscle stimulator
• Micro-current
• Lymphatic drainage
• Micro-dermabrasion
• Micro-lance
• Monitoring and maintaining health and safety practice in the salon
• Conducting risk assessments
• Promoting and selling products and services to clients

Course Structure: 

This Focus Awards Level 3 Certificate in Providing Facial Electrotherapy Treatments is internally assessed.

Much of the qualification is completed as home-study, including written and practical coursework making this an ideal route for those who wish to study flexibly around other commitments.

Once you have completed your theory and some written assignments, you will then attend 3 practical training days (a break of 2 weeks in between each day), working on at least 3 models.

After this you will complete and submit 2 case studies per treatment modality. Once these have been approved, you will need to conduct 3 observations (can be done face to face or via Zoom)

You will need access to a computer and Word (or equivalent).

Kit: You will need a kit to complete your case studies and observations which will include:

Eye Make-Up Remover, Cleanser(s), Exfoliator, Toner(s), Mask(s), Moisturiser(s), Eye Cream/Gel, Massage medium, Serum(s), SPF

Equipment:

Milia needles, Microdermabrasion unit, microcurrent unit, Direct high frequency unit, Galvanic unit, Electro Muscle Stimulator and Lymphatic drainage equipment.
