Learner Entry Requirements: Learners must have previously achieved a Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy.

 

Course aims:

The Focus Awards Level 4 Certificate in Enhancing Eyebrows with Microblading Techniques is aimed at learners who wish to pursue a career as a microblading technician or enhance their skills within the beauty therapy sector.

This course covers:

  • Understand, prepare and provide microblading treatments

 

Course Structure: 


This qualification is internally assessed. Each learner must create a portfolio of evidence that demonstrates achievement of all the learning outcomes and assessment criteria.


You will attend three days' practical training followed by the completion of 6 case studies. Once the case studies have been signed off, you will then need to perform 4 observations.


The 4 observations have to cover:


  • Colouring
  • Defining natural features
  • Improving features
  • Shaping features
  • Eyebrows with and without existing hair
  • Pigments: Both organic and inorganic
  • You will also need to complete 5 case studies


The observations can be done face to face or via Zoom.


You will need access to a computer and Word (or equivalent).
